For many of you, you’ve traded your Hydrocycle in for the ice skates for the winter. For others, you get to embrace the fun of the season and jump on your Hydrocycles and be dazzled by the wonderful light displays along the water!

Ray's Maintenance Tip
Inspect the Friction Lock, the Plastic/Rubber Bushing, that is located between the DT pivot and the frame hub, especially if the Hydrocycle is 5 years old or older, for signs of wear or damage due to many hours of use or UV degradation. Possible problems resulting can be:
- the slipping or skipping of the outside bicycle chain,
- chain making noise or causing the chain to come off the sprockets (front or back).
- the DT tending to come up out of the water when trying to back up or pedal in reverse not allowing the Hydrocycle back up.
So spend a few minutes looking, it could save you a lot of time and money.
